Two residential towers with a view of Erasmus Bridge
Commissioned by
Amvest Residential Core Fund Cordeel Nederland started the turnkey construction of two residential towers at Boompjes in Rotterdam.
About this project
Cordeel is building two prominent tower blocks (70 and 100 metres tall) at 60-68 Boompjes in Rotterdam Maritime District. There will be 342 non-subsidised rental apartments with living areas ranging from 45 to 155 m2. The plinth will house 834 m2 of commercial space and the underground car park will feature an innovative mobility concept for e-cars and e bikes.
The development of Rotterdam’s dynamic Maritime District is currently in full swing and the area is slated to become the city’s most remarkable location. Designed with optimum living quality in mind, the residential towers will stand alongside the Meuse River. By opting for two slender staggered towers, instead of one wide behemoth, the residences behind the high rises will have a vista onto the river. The smart design will also allow for more corner houses and afford stunning views of Erasmus Bridge, Willems Bridge and the Old Harbour.
