Information letter Boompjes Residential #14
In this 14th edition of the Clubhouse Boompjes newsletter, we provide an update on the latest construction activities and look ahead to the final stages of the project.
Fit-out stage — exterior
The exterior of the residential towers is nearing completion: the façades are sealed, most balconies are installed and the rooftops are landscaped. Furthermore, the temporary construction lifts have been removed and permanent lifts are now in operation.
Significant progress is also being made in the area around the building. In collaboration with the Municipality of Rotterdam, we are preparing a temporary site reorganisation, paving the way for the area’s complete redevelopment under municipal leadership. Mains services have been installed along the street, and the tower crane, standing at 120 metres, was recently dismantled in just a few days. We have captured this impressive process in a video that’s well worth watching!
Fit-out stage — interior
The interior fit-out is now in full swing. In the apartments, painting is underway, kitchens are being installed, doors are already hung and internal walls are fitted. Excellent progress is also being made on the installation of the bathroom fixtures and technical systems, and communal area ceilings are currently being finished. Several apartments have reached practical completion, and the first residents of Clubhouse Boompjes have had the opportunity to visit and measure their new homes.
