Information letter Boompjes Residential Towers #1

Dear residents and entrepreneurs in the vicinity of Boompjes 60-68. You probably have noticed that preparatory demolition works has recently taken place. With information letters we will keep you regularly informed of all (expected) developments during the construction.

Commissioned by Amvest Residential Core Fund, we are building two residential towers (70 and 100 metres tall) at 60-68 Boompjes. The complex will comprise 342 non-subsidised rental apartments, including co-living and starter homes. The plinth will include 834 m2 of commercial space and there will be an underground car park featuring an innovative mobility solution.

Construction work Q2 – 2020
The vacant office building at the site is currently being demolished in stages and this work is taking place from the inside out. At the moment, the demolition activities are still only on the inside and therefore not yet visible to you. At the beginning of May 2020, we will start pulling down the concrete frame. This work is expected to last until July 2020.

Handling coronavirus during construction
In connection with the coronavirus, we evaluate on a daily basis whether the work can be carried out in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with current guidelines. This sometimes requires an adapted working method. If the protection of our staff and our subcontractors or suppliers can no longer be guaranteed, we will stop the work.
